When placed in a Church meeting it can transmit notices, song sheets, sermon notes, rota’s, bible readings and home group details to church members at the meeting, for free.

The device can simultaneously deliver messages in a 100-meter radius to up to twenty one Bluetooth enabled phones.  Over the course of a meeting this often means every member of the congregation will be given the option to download the content and take it away on their phones.

Txttouch MD, Nicholas Maguire, who was involved in church leadership for nearly fifteen-years said: “The Gabriel Communicator is an ideal device for reaching today’s younger and more mobile congregations. It is also beneficial to Church administrators as it reduces the need for paper notices, which will save Churches time and money as well as helping them become more environmentally friendly.”

21st Century Evangelism

"I am Gabriel… and I have been sent to speak to you and to tell you this good news.” Luke 1:19

Not only is the Gabriel Communicator ideal for Church meetings, it is also a fantastic new method of communicating the gospel message in outreach and evangelism.

Anybody passing a Communicator, with a Bluetooth enabled phone, can receive digital tracts, cartoons, pictures or messages directly.  From coffee bars and high street locations to festivals and fetes this unique device with its portable battery option or car kit can be used in any public location!

Once a church has delivered its free message using the communicator, the message then takes on a life of its own, as people can then forward the multimedia message to friends anywhere in the world by MMS messaging.  It has been found that people are more likely to view content on their phone than reading a flyer or letter, (according to mobile phone insurer CPP) with the under twenty fives preferring phone messages to any other form of communication.

The message delivered by the Gabriel Communicator includes a “textback” option from txttouch, which gives any receiver the opportunity to respond to the message by text message, offering churches a direct means to follow up and contact that individual.  This offers a powerful lifeline for people who may have had no contact with churches and who may not know how to begin asking questions or how to build a dialogue.

Churches can keep the multimedia content on the Communicators fresh and relevant, by updating the devices though a portal on the txttouch web site. Churches can upload the latest artwork using this portal, before it is transferred across the internet to their Gabriel Communicator, this simple-to-use system changes the messages on each devices quickly and efficiently, ensuring the message that“Gabriel” delivers is always ‘good news’.
